CORE DRILLING
Customers call us when they need access openings in a concrete structure.
Customers call us when they need access openings in a concrete structure. Sometimes it’s new construction; other times, we’re called to assist with retrofitting an existing design. Core drilling is cost- and time-effective and minimizes vibration, which can cause significant damage. Core drilling is the perfect method to install plumbing, wiring, HVAC systems, and recessed lighting.
A cylindrical diamond drill bit cuts a circular opening in concrete, asphalt, brick, and masonry; the result is easy removal of a perfectly cylindrical block of concrete. The use of a diamond rotary cutting tool enables us to complete the job efficiently and quickly for cost-effective results. We have the skills to drill holes from an inch across to a couple of feet wide, on any plane: walls, floors, or ceilings. Our superior technology allows us to core drill in open areas or tight spots.
We can core-cut horizontal holes, called dowel drilling, to join adjacent concrete sections, such as a roadway, runway, or sidewalk. These openings allow for drainage or rebar tie-ins.
Concrete cores are often tested for factors affecting its strength, density, permeability, and composition.

Using the right tool for the job is a standard rule in any occupation. We have the right tools for your needs: the capability of choosing between a light-duty or medium-duty handheld electric drill for smaller jobs. Drilling heavily-reinforced materials, i.e., rebar, or anything with significant thickness or depth, requires a powerful tool, electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic. We’ve got you covered.
